Sri Dhenupureeswarar temple - Madambakkam, Chennai
This ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is located
in the suburb of Chennai called Madambakkam, near Tambaram. Since this
place has redeemed the sins of sage Kapila and God Indra, it is considered as a
parihara sthalam. This temple is over 1000 years old and temple build by
Chozha period.
