Sri Amirthakadeswarar Temple - Melakadambur
This Amirthakadeswarar temple is suituated in the village of Melakadambur in Cuddalure district. This is one of the devara padal petra sthalam and 34th North couvery belt devara sthalam. This temple constructed by Chola period by Kulathunga Cholan.The temple has beautiful sculptures and the vimana is in the form of a chariot. It is classified as Karak kovil, a temple built resembling the shape of a chariot used during temple festivals.
